WASHINGTON – D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s administration has requested companies to take down supplies used to board up within the days surrounding the election, saying there is no such thing as a credible info that signifies upcoming violence.

Companies can recycle supplies by dropping them off on the Division of Public works station on Benninng Highway Northeast. The enterprise enchancment districts will coordinate rollaway containers with DPW, the District says.
Christopher Rodriguez, director of the DC Homeland Safety and Emergency Administration Company, says there are not any credible threats of violence that might warrant maintaining boards up.

“Our suggestion and our ask of the companies is that given our menace atmosphere that they need to take down all of the boards or cardboard that has been put up there,” stated Rodriguez.
