Cinema Napa Valley, which presents the Napa Valley Movie Competition, has named Michael Polenske as new CEO and artistic director. Polenske, who assumes the position instantly, shall be answerable for overseeing the artistic path of Cinema Napa Valley and the Napa Valley Movie Competition.
Polenske is the artistic director, chairman and founding father of the ÆRENA Galleries & Gardens with places in downtown Napa, St. Helena and Healdsburg, in addition to the sculpture backyard at Auberge du Soleil. He’s the founding father of Bespoke Assortment composed of three wine tasks: Blackbird Vineyards, ÆRENA Wines and Recuerdo Wines. Bespoke Assortment has created personal label wines for musicians equivalent to The Foo Fighters, The Killers and Martina McBride, in addition to world manufacturers like Lyft, Morton’s Steakhouse and Salesforce.
In 2008, Polenske created Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley, which he bought to RH in 2014. Beforehand, he had a profession in monetary providers and served as president and CEO of Chase Manhattan Financial institution & Belief Co., N.A., heading up the personal banking enterprise within the western U.S. Polenske is a founding board member of Competition Napa Valley.
The annual pageant, canceled this 12 months by the Covid-19 pandemic, will return Nov. 10-14, 2021.
In the meantime, for this 12 months, Cinema Napa Valley will current a “Dinner and a Film” sequence on Nov. 12-14, displaying three movies that performed on the pageant in earlier years with digital appearances from the movies’ filmmakers and stars.
