Gabriela Hearst, the designer of her eponymous vogue label and new creative director of Chloé, sees what’s coming clearly, and that’s the local weather disaster, which she says will result in the extinction of our species if correct motion isn’t taken. She says she’s in a position to keep optimistic about vogue as a result of the instruments to repair the disaster are there, the trade simply wants to reply to pressures to make use of them.
